Stress Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging: A Powerful Tool for Diagnosing and Risk Stratifying Coronary Artery Disease
Stress CMR, particularly with 3-T MRI, has proven highly accurate in diagnosing and risk stratifying patients with stable chest pain and suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). Inducible ischemia and late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) are associated with increased cardiovascular risk, while normal stress CMR findings reduce the likelihood of adverse events.
